wasatch mountain state park

 We were in Midway for the weekend and decided to spend Sunday afternoon at the pond at the bottom of Wasatch Mountain State Park. It was so beautiful and perfect! And it was just the tip of the iceberg. You can explore the mountains, golf and camp if want too. We had fun relaxing at this peaceful place. 

 The pond is right next to a golf course, and right next to the mountains. 

There are well kept grassy banks, picnic tables and a fun playground for the kids.
Can you believe how beautiful it is?

 We brought our fishing gear. The boys were excited!

They tried using other bait but instead caught a whole lot of this.
Too bad we didn't have any worms.

We did see some people who actually caught fish though!

At least they got a lot of casting practice in?

with all of the (Swiss Days) weekend visitors.

Before I could stop him, Linc was scooping water into his mouth!

(I always find him on the counters at home trying 

to get drinks straight from the faucet too.)

The visitor's center is open 8-5 every day except 

Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's.
