I love living in Utah! We have the most amazing mountains, rivers, lakes and rock formations. I grew up hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and camping all around our state and I can't believe how much we have to do here! While on a running camp in the Uinta mountains when I was younger, my friends and I formed the SPOL club (simple pleasures of life.) We just tried to enjoy the little things, and to this day my hubby calls me a SPOL girl. I love it. And while I'm definitely not a die hard outdoorsey girl, I love being outside! I wanted to share family friendly hikes and other things to do with you. It makes me wonder when people have lived here their entire lives and haven't ever skied or hiked or been to Moab... what?! Get out and enjoy our great state! Hope this blog helps give you some fun ideas.
