tibble fork perfection

Outside is where I want to be.
So we spent Wednesday at Tibble Fork Reservoir.
It was perfect weather and partly cloudy.
Sometimes super sunny, sometimes cloudy and sometimes even sprinkling.
The kids always have so much fun exploring there.
The water was super high this time. Can you see that tree in the water?
The river going up the canyon was crazy full too.
Kind of scary, but we didn't have to deal with the river here.

wild man
This is before Lincoln fell in twice. He was so dirty and wet when we left.
Note to self: Always bring extra clothes (or better yet- a swimsuit!) to the lake.

I love a good rock-throwing pic!

This is Linc's new thing- twisting his tongue, although I didn't see it until now.

Still a lot of snow on the mountains... the rivers might be full for a while.

Elliott decided to stake a spot just outside a ground squirrel's hole.
He tried for so long to catch one!

Mr. Will
Mt. Timp behind us.

One wet, dirty, TIRED boy.
Linds and Benny

On the way out we decided to look at the dam/drain thing.
Elliott and Ollie thought it looked like a giant whirlpool...

... and a giant waterslide.

The clouds really started to move in as we were leaving.
I love how green it made everything look.

Elliott and I got out to take a pic of the crazy river on the way down.
I couldn't let E get any closer without having a heart attack.

I loved this day!
